QUESTIONS
What does the school
teach?
We give our students comprehensive instruction in
hands-on healing techniques, self-transformation,
high sense perception, body-oriented psychotherapy,
anatomy and physiology, Eastern Medicine, creative
arts, ethics, student clinic and business studies.
When do classes start?
There are three class starts per year; winter,
spring, and fall. Schedules for new programs are
available upon request.
How long does it take to complete the training?
Year 1 program consists of 5 week-long intensives.
Each week consists of 40 hours for a total of 200
hours with 30 hours credit given for reports and
documented homework sessions. The 5 week intensives
will be presented approximately over a 5-6 month
period. With self-study assigned between class
sessions, you are able to maintain your current
professional and personal responsibilities.
Year 2 program consists of 8 week-long intensives.
Each week consists of 40 hours for a total of 320
hours with 30 hours credit for Professional
Internship. The 8 week intensives will be presented
approximately over an 8-9 month period.
How can I use my training
after graduation?
Graduates find work in a variety of environments
including chiropractic, naturopathic offices,
veterinary, counseling, medicine, spas, health
clubs, and massage clinics and most commonly, their
own private practices. Many graduates integrate
their training into their current careers.
Does the school provide
financial aid or scholarships?
We do not have any scholarships or financial aid
available
How can I pay for school?
Alternative in-house payment plans are available for
those who qualify. We accept Visa and Master Card.
Veterans
Selected programs of study at
EarthWalk Institute of Healing
Arts are approved by the Workforce
Training and Education Coordinating Board’s State
Approving Agency (WTECB/SAA) for enrollment of those
eligible to receive benefits under Title 38 and
Title 10, USC.
Who attends EarthWalk
School?
Students come from various walks of life: people who
already are doing alternative healing work, people
who are doing more traditional healing work but
desire a deeper understanding of the energetic
dynamics of healing, and others who are curious
about their own healing processes and are seeking
alternative modalities. Among EarthWalk students are
massage therapists, registered nurses, radiologists,
veterinary technicians, teachers, bookkeepers,
engineers, nurses and artists, as well as full-time
parents. We work with each individual to ensure he
or she is prepared to be successful in this program.
Our program is designed to be compatible with the
schedules of students who live at a distance. We
have many who travel from other states to attend our
classes.

What
are the Career Opportunities?
The opportunities for success in the healing
arts professions are better now then ever.
Career opportunities are increasing as more
people discover the value of therapeutic energy
healing for rehabilitation, emotional well-being
and health enhancement. According to the Journal
of the American Medical Association, people are
choosing alternative therapies over conventional
medicine. It is one of the most rewarding jobs
you can have, and it allows you more freedom
then almost any other entry-level position,
successful completion of EarthWalk’s energy
healing program will open the door to many
wonderful career opportunities, as well as a
lifestyle of service and right- livelihood.
Our career program is designed for people who
want to take this work into the world and earn
their living with it. Our goal is to train
people to become health professionals who are
prepared to establish their own practices or to
obtain jobs in the expanding market for bodywork
and complementary health care. Our graduates can
work in association with chiropractors, medical
doctors and psychologists. They may also work in
clinics, wellness centers, hospitals, care
facilities, treatment centers, health spas
resort hotels, salons and cruise ships. They
also often create private professional practices
or operate their own health centers.

Puget Sound area like?
If you are considering relocating to Seattle to
attend
EarthWalk Institute of Healing
Arts, you are in for a great
experience. Not only does EarthWalk have one of the
most esteemed energy healing programs in the nation,
but the Seattle area continues to be ranked among the
top ten places to live in the U.S. Seattle and the
outlying areas offer a combination of metropolitan
comfort and convenience, with easy access to the
beauty of nature.
People from all over the country
relocate to Seattle to study energy healing,
naturopathic medicine, massage, acupuncture and
other complementary health care disciplines - as many
of the premiere institutions that teach these subjects
are located in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle
continues to be known as a hub for holistic
training.
Seattle is home to approximately
540,000 people. King County, which includes Seattle,
is home to 1.7 million. Seattle and Puget Sound area
is diverse with people from many backgrounds and
nationalities including a large number of people
from the Pacific Rim.
You may have heard rumors about
our weather. The rumors are true you will need an
umbrella. While it rains frequently during the
winter, annual rainfall in Seattle is lower than the
national average.
